Ordering times for delivery
Order before 2pm for same day delivery within the Oamaru township, Allow 24-48hours for rural deliveries.
Delivery area
We deliver south to Palmerston west to Twizel and North to Dunedin, this ensures flowers are only on courier for the shortest amount of time and arrive fresh.

Our Delivery Service
To ensure your flowers arrive looking fresh and beautiful we like to deliver your order personally, if this is not possible we will use trusted couriers.
No One at Home
If there is no one at home to receive your order we will endeavour to find a suitable place at the property to leave your flowers (e.g. protected from the sun, rain or wind) . If it is not possible to leave your order, it will be returned to The Florist Oamaru for redelivery or pick-up. We will leave a card in the letter box explaining when we tried to make the delivery and where your flowers have been left. We may charge for redelivery.
Caring for your bouquet
Start with a clean vase & good quality water.
Cut approx. 2-3cm at an angle with a sharp pair of scissors. Cutting at an angle will result in a larger surface area from which your flowers can drink.
Flowers will live longer if you avoid placing them in direct sunlight, heat, on top of appliances such as heaters, fireplace as they can precipitately wilt cut flowers.
Re-cut the stems every 3 days and change the water. Top up the vase water when necessary.
Caring for your arrangement
Some flowers come arranged, inserted in a brick floral foam that is damp and filled with water, please do not remove stems from the foam. Check that the block is moist. To prolong the life of your arrangement add water into the container every second day.
Refunds or replacements
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If for any reason you, or the recipient of your gift, is not completely satisfied with gifts or flowers please let us know within 2days time by calling 03 4347488. Once we’re confident that they have been cared for as recommended, we will happily replace the flowers.
